O'ma

My dear sweet O'ma passed away April 4th, 2012.  I can't stop thinking about her and I miss her so much.  She was an inspiration to me and so many others.  She was a rock in our family and one of my very best friends in the world.  I know she is with God right now and so much happier to be there but I want her here longer.  I am so glad we got to see her in December one last time and that she got to meet Elias.   I never thought this day would come so soon......

O'ma, you have blessed me, I am so fortunate to have had you touch my life and be such a part of who I am today.  It gives me great comfort to think of you living on through me and my children and grandchildren.  Thank you for your example of being an amazing woman, wife, mother and servant of our God. You truly were a "grand" mother.  Yours was a life well-lived and you made the very most of your time here.  I will try to follow your lead!  I smile thinking that you are beyond happy where you are right now.....and as you always used to say, it's not "goodbye", just "so long", I'll see you soon!
